Kylie Jenner nude Vanity Fair photos leave internet calling it “Too Much”

Kylie Jenner's Vanity Fair Shoot Has the Internet Divided — And Very Loudly So

Kylie Jenner has set the internet on fire again. The 28-year-old beauty mogul is on the cover of Vanity Fair's Spring 2026 issue, and the reaction online has been anything but quiet.

Shot by celebrated photographer Mert Alas, the spread is a full-on fashion statement. There are equestrian-inspired looks — a satin Dolce & Gabbana bra, Hermès riding breeches — and then there's the image everyone is talking about: Jenner wearing nothing but an oversized Chanel bow. Elsewhere in the shoot, she poses topless in bed, dressed only in Skims underwear and stockings. Styled by Paul Sinclaire, the whole thing is glamorous, deliberate, and very much designed to get a reaction. It got one.

Social media lit up within hours. Some called it a bold, unapologetic fashion moment. Others were less impressed, with "too much" trending across platforms before the day was out. As ever with Jenner, there was no middle ground.

Growing Up on Camera

Alongside the photographs, Jenner sat down for a wide-ranging chat with journalist Nate Freeman, and it made for a genuinely interesting read. She spoke honestly about what it was like growing up entirely in the public eye — something most people can barely imagine.

She was just nine years old when Keeping Up With the Kardashians first aired in 2007, and she admitted that nobody in the family had the faintest idea how big it would become. Looking back now, as a mother herself, she finds it almost hard to believe. Her own daughter Stormi is turning eight — the same age Jenner was when the cameras first started rolling — and she says seeing her brings the whole thing into sharp relief.

Kids, Business, and What's Next

Jenner has two children — Stormi, eight, and son Aire, four — and has hinted she'd like to add to her family eventually. For now, though, she's focused on enjoying her late twenties on her own terms. Travel, her kids, her work — that's where her head is at.

On the business side, she reflected on the early days of Kylie Cosmetics, revealing she put around $250,000 into launching it — roughly half of everything she had in the bank at the time. It was a gamble that paid off rather spectacularly.

Having a Go at Acting

Perhaps the most unexpected part of the interview was how seriously she's taking her acting ambitions. She landed a role in Charli XCX's new satirical film The Moment — and by her own account, she basically talked her way into it on a flight with the director. The film, which opened in January, takes a sharp and funny look at modern pop stardom, and critics have singled out Jenner's scene as one of the highlights.

She's now been sent a handful of scripts, says she loves comedy, and wouldn't rule out an action film either. Whether Hollywood takes her seriously remains to be seen — but then again, people have underestimated Kylie Jenner before.

The photos may have split opinion. The ambition, though, is pretty hard to argue with.
